(August 15th, 1953 - May 19th, 2026) Roger Dale Bakken, 72, of Waterloo, Iowa, passed away on May 19, 2026. Born on August 15, 1953, Roger was a proud graduate of West Waterloo High School, Class of 1971. Shortly after graduation, he served his country honorably in the U.S. Army from 1971 to 1973. Roger dedicated much of his career to John Deere in Waterloo, where he worked diligently from 1975 until his retirement in 2009. Known for his strong work ethic and love for the out
